That’s me! I keep it real with you whether I’m talking with my family or a frazzled mom at the grocery store.
And I’ll be the first to tell you. I’m a piece of work, but I’m a work in progress. My journey is a process of embracing who I am while allowing Jesus to make me better.
It’s because I know God loves me I receive truth that promotes growth. And that’s what I want for you.
But embracing truth requires transparency, being honest with yourself and others. Not always easy!
When I sat down to write a book for moms, Jesus detoured me. God had something to say to His daughters before talking to us as mothers. Surreal is the word to describe writing a book you need as much as anyone else.
Maybe you’re like me and never knew God’s fatherly love in your heart beyond understanding the concept. Then you’ll love diving even deeper into the adventure unfolding in the accompanying devotional.
As a physician, I enjoy the book of Luke (a fellow doc who delights in details), but when you want to appreciate the love of God wrapped up in Jesus, John’s your guy. Vine Life Faith grew out of my favorite chapter in the gospel of John, 15. There’s nothing like love to help you swallow truth. And they meet you in every verse in John 15.
Being from the Bronx, you’d be right to assume I speak my mind, but I prefer sharing what’s useful. Because opinions help nobody. It’s what Jesus says about you that matters. And I use His words to challenge the narratives that keep you from His best for you.
If you’re looking for someone who tells you the truth flavored with love because she wants to see you be your best. Then I’m your girl. Let’s walk this out together.
